Matt Taylor brings an impressive resume highlighted by his 25-year career in the United States Air Force, where he held pivotal roles including pilot, maintenance officer, instructor, test director, and operations manager. Prior to this, Taylor gained considerable experience flying various aircraft under Part 91 and Part 135, including popular Citation models which are central to Northern Jet's operations.
As Taylor steps into this role, he will lead all flight operations and pilot programs across Northern Jet’s various bases, including Grand Rapids, Orlando, and Naples. His responsibilities encompass overseeing pilot recruitment and training, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and managing crew resource practices. With Northern Jet aiming to enhance both its fractional ownership and charter offerings, Taylor's leadership will be crucial in maintaining the company’s high standards of training and performance.
