Sega NET Mahjong 'MJ' and 'Oreimo' Collaboration: Nationwide Tournament to Begin
Sega has announced an exciting new collaboration between its popular networked Mahjong game series, 'MJ', and the acclaimed television anime 'Oreimo' (My Little Sister Is Among Them!). Starting from June 2, 2025, the nationwide tournament titled "Oreimo CUP" will kick off, featuring various special in-game items inspired by the anime, including unique winning effects and table backgrounds.
Overview of the 'Oreimo CUP' Nationwide Tournament
This tournament will be accessible on both the app and arcade versions of 'MJ', inviting players to enjoy thrilling matches based on the beloved anime. Competitions consist of two formats: the East Wind game and a three-player variant, where participants accumulate scores. Players achieving above a set score during the qualifying rounds will advance to the finals, where the player with the highest score will take home the championship title.
In the app version of 'MJ', players can obtain various Oreimo-themed items by participating in the tournament and fulfilling certain requirements, such as winning buttons and table backgrounds reflecting the series.
