Located just a three-minute walk from Chiba Station (JR) and Chiba Station (Keisei), this facility combines employment transition support with self-training services—in a bid to optimize the pathway to successful employment for its clients.

On July 2026, Japan's legal employment rate for individuals with disabilities increased from 2.5% to 2.7%, further motivating companies to enhance recruitment efforts for disabled individuals. Yet, many prospective employees express a willingness to work but struggle to progress towards employment due to issues related to daily routines and self-awareness. This disconnect highlights the need for reliable support locations that facilitate the transition into the workforce.

Kaien Chiba Ekimae offers a quiet and calming indoor environment with minimal sunlight interference, allowing clients to focus on their training. Its straightforward office layout enables individuals to envision their future work scenarios more clearly. A soft-colored training space accommodates varying comfort levels, whether sitting on a rug or at a desk.

The facility promotes motivation through group activities, allowing individuals to discuss progress with staff while working towards personal goals or career aspirations.

The mock workplace offers a simulation environment where clients can practice reporting to supervisors and engage in group discussions to prepare for real-world situations.

- Step-by-Step Progress: The self-training program focuses on stabilizing daily routines, conflict resolution, and honing self-reflection capabilities, building a robust foundation necessary for employment. This framework allows clients to transition smoothly from self-training to employment support within the same facility, minimizing the stress of adjusting to new environments.

- Unique Job Opportunities: In collaboration with over 200 companies that understand the capabilities of individuals with developmental and mental disabilities, Kaien connects clients to personalized job placements that suit their unique strengths. In the past decade, Kaien has successfully secured employment for around 2,000 individuals and continues to provide support for up to three and a half years post-employment, ensuring lasting success in their careers.
