Vision Films' Upcoming Sci-Fi Thriller 'Isolation' to Debut on VOD This Fall

Vision Films has announced the much-anticipated worldwide Transactional Video-On-Demand (VOD) release of their latest film, Isolation, scheduled for September 22, 2026. This striking sci-fi psychological thriller is the brainchild of director and producer James Drake Coleman, with support from co-producer Joe Barajas of Regardless Productions. Filming took place in diverse locations across Texas, starting in Austin and extending through various stunning backdrops from the Monahans Sandhills State Park in West Texas to the lush Pineywoods forest area in the east.

Originally conceived as a short film that had won accolades as a 16-minute piece, Isolation metamorphosed into a full-length feature due to the backing of angel investors. Coleman not only directs the film but also stars in it, showcases his editing skills, and composed its score. The movie revolves around the life of Logan, a prisoner aboard a desolate spacecraft, who embarks on hazardous missions to recover alien artifacts in the hope of earning his freedom. His solitary companion on this journey is the ship’s onboard messaging system, dubbed “AMI.” The plot delves into existential themes such as purpose, survival, and the complexities of the human psyche.
