The 2025-2026 Crucian Christmas Festival Village Unveiled

In a vibrant announcement, the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the Division of Festivals, has revealed the updated schedule and exciting lineup for the 2025-2026 Crucian Christmas Festival Village. This much-anticipated event will commence on December 27 and extend for a week of joyous celebrations filled with cultural displays, music, and culinary delights, all set against the stunning backdrop of St. Croix.

Featuring renowned acts such as Kes the Band, Voice, Pumpa, Romain Virgo, Adam O, Morgan Heritage, and D'Yani, the festival promises to offer a rich tapestry of Caribbean culture. The festival is a tribute to the island's heritage, blending traditions and modern expressions of local talent.

The festival will kick off with a rousing J'ouvert on the morning of December 31. Revelers will flood the streets, letting loose in a colorful display of music, fun, and camaraderie, culminating in a delightful Food Fair at Buddhoe Park that will highlight the authentic flavors and culinary heritage of the islands. As emphasized by Jennifer Matarangas-King, Commissioner-Nominee of Tourism, the Crucian Christmas Festival not only celebrates cultural pride but also engages both locals and visitors in a shared experience of community and joy.

This year's lineup not only features local stars but also brings together celebrated regional talents and international performers. The festival's Village will prominently honor the beloved Xpress Band, alongside exceptional performers such as Voice, Nadia Batson, Romain Virgo, and Morgan Heritage who have all noted contributions to the region’s music scene.

Notably, the festival will pay homage to Unkle Sasso, a legendary figure in Virgin Islands music, during the annual Soca Monarch competition on December 29, celebrating his enduring influence within the community.

In line with modern concerns for safety, Alvin Burke Jr., Assistant Director of Festivals, indicated that the updated schedule was crafted with the collaboration of local authorities, including the Virgin Islands Police Department. The festival programming from sunrise J'ouvert to Kes the Band's exhilarating closing concert on January 3 has been thoughtfully designed to prioritize the safety and enjoyment of all festival-goers.

As the event approaches, the Department of Tourism and the Division of Festivals extend a warm invitation to everyone to immerse themselves in the festivities and witness why the Crucian Christmas Festival is celebrated as a vital piece of Virgin Islands heritage. This festival is a magnificent fusion of music, tradition, and community spirit that holds a special place in the hearts of both residents and visitors alike.
