Pasona Heartful Hosts Rice Cultivation Experience in Chiba
On May 10, 2025, Pasona Heartful, a subsidiary of Pasona Group, will hold a rice cultivation experience event in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture. This initiative is part of the 'Yume Farm' project aiming to empower individuals with disabilities through agricultural activities. Local residents, employees of the Pasona Group, and their families are invited to participate in this interactive event that combines education, community engagement, and support for those in need.
A Meaningful Experience
The 'Rice Cultivation Experience Day' is designed to foster connections between Pasona Group employees and the local community while showcasing the capabilities of disabled individuals engaged in agricultural work. The event will feature hands-on activities from planting rice to harvesting it, providing a unique opportunity for participants to appreciate the agricultural process.
The rice harvested during the event will include the popular 'Milky Queen' variety. A part of the harvest will be donated to food pantries in Tokyo via volunteer organizations, addressing food insecurity in urban areas.

Yume Farm's Mission
The Yume Farm project has been instrumental in supporting the independence and employment of individuals with disabilities since its inception. Established in partnership with social welfare organizations and special support schools in 2006 and expanded in 2009, Yume Farm allows employees with severe disabilities to cultivate various crops under the guidance of agricultural professionals.
Harvested crops include a wide variety of over 50 vegetables and fruits, which are sold internally within the Pasona Group and online. By participating in the rice cultivation event, community members will not only learn about the agriculture process but also contribute to a meaningful cause that supports both local agriculture and social responsibility efforts.
Through these initiatives, Pasona Heartful is committed to enhancing the visibility and opportunities for individuals with disabilities while addressing food poverty through actionable community programs. This year’s rice cultivation experience promises to be a rewarding day of learning, connection, and community spirit.
Join us for a day that celebrates agriculture, community engagement, and support for those in need!
