PRESS BUTTER SAND, the famous butter sandwich specialty shop operated by BAKE INC. (headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, under CEO Eiichi Kasai), is set to open its first store in the Kitakyushu area. This new storefront will be located at Amu Plaza Kokura, directly connected to Kokura Station, on September 10, 2026.

This new shop will feature a selection of sweets that are ideal not only for daily commutes, shopping trips, or casual treats but also great for gifting to family and friends or as souvenirs from Kitakyushu. Among the offerings, the shop will sell a regional flavor, Butter Sand with Amaou Strawberry, which is exclusive to stores in Kyushu.

In celebration of its grand opening, PRESS BUTTER SAND Amu Plaza Kokura will offer several promotional activities.
