Free Training Program for Alcohol-Related Issues

Kakyasu Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hitomairu Co., Ltd., has announced the commencement of registration for its training program aimed at assisting those involved in alcohol-related issues. This year marks a significant change, as the program, which was previously paid, will now be offered at no cost. This initiative reflects Kakyasu's commitment to addressing the challenges posed by alcohol use, including addiction and drunk driving.

This training is designed to enhance the skills of individuals involved in supporting those struggling with alcohol problems. The program consists of three online sessions focusing on intervention techniques and support for family members. It aims to share knowledge not just among healthcare professionals but also among family members and individuals in recovery, thus broadening its reach and impact in tackling these societal issues. Many participants from private sectors have already registered, highlighting the collective effort needed to combat alcohol-related challenges.

This year's program includes contributions from addiction treatment experts from both Japan and the United States, featuring Dr. Steven R. Eye, a renowned addiction specialist with over 30 years of experience in treating alcohol and drug dependency. With a focus on medical perspectives and real-life experiences, participants will gain valuable insights. To ensure accessibility, all lectures by foreign experts will be accompanied by Japanese interpretation.
