Ray-Ban Team Up with Artist MHAK for a Unique Shibuya Event

Ray-Ban Street Masters x MHAK: A Celebration of Art and Culture in Shibuya

On July 24th, 2026, Ray-Ban is set to celebrate the artistry of Japanese artist MHAK with a collaborative event at the Ray-Ban Store in Shibuya. This occasion is part of the larger "Ray-Ban Street Masters" project, which aims to highlight the unique characteristics of various cities by collaborating with local artists worldwide.

Ray-Ban Street Masters is not just about the aesthetics of sunglasses; it's about capturing the essence of each city through understanding its culture and everyday life. Each city, including Shibuya, has its own iconic elements, but truly beloved icons develop a deep connection with the people over time. Rather than simply portraying a touristy image, this initiative seeks to unveil the genuine identity of the city through local perspectives.

At the Shibuya Ray-Ban Store, MHAK will unveil four exclusive original designs as part of their special engraving service, launched in March during the store's renovation. This customization service allows attendees to create unique designs for their eyewear and cases, choosing from a variety of icons and fonts, and is only available at select locations. MHAK’s involvement extends from being a part of the store's reopening visuals to this exciting event, marking their second collaboration.

On the day of the event, attendees will not only have the opportunity to meet MHAK during a talk session but also enjoy themed food and drinks inspired by the Street Masters project. Furthermore, there will be a chance for fans to engage in a hands-on creative experience where MHAK will personalize eyewear cases and exclusive tote bags with his signature or original artwork—these items are limited in quantity. Everyone is welcome to participate, making it a special opportunity for art and eyewear lovers alike.
