The recently held 22nd Middle East Organic and Natural Product Expo 2024 finished on November 20 in Dubai, marking a significant moment for the organic and natural products industry. This year's expo brought in over 15,200 trade visitors, representing a remarkable 25% increase compared to the previous year. The event also showcased more than 550 exhibitors, an impressive surge of 80%, thus reinforcing its standing as the premier organic exhibition in the region.

The expo also marked the global introduction of MATRADE's Malaysia International Halal Showcase, called MIHAS@Dubai. Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican, the chairman of MATRADE, noted the collaboration opened doors to explore the Halal and organic market's potential, while also enriching the event experience for attendees.
First-time exhibitors such as SP Bioenergy Co., Ltd from Thailand shared their excitement, noting they received an overwhelming number of inquiries that presented new business opportunities.
Another significant highlight was the presence of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority of India, which demonstrated the country’s strengths in organic products through a buyer-seller meeting.

Uganda's representation aimed to highlight its agricultural capabilities, with Minister Bright Rwamirama asserting the expo was crucial for promoting Ugandan organics. As the exhibition wrapped up successfully, organizers are already gearing up for the next installment scheduled for November 17-19, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
