PowerX Revises Production Plans for Mega Power Series

Originally set to commence operations in June 2027, the start date for the new Hokkaido factory has been shifted to July 2028. Both manufacturing locations will maintain an annual production capacity of 800 units, ensuring that PowerX meets the growing demand for its storage solutions.

Despite the delays at the Hokkaido facility, the main plant in Tamano is on track, with a new production line scheduled to start operations in January 2027 as planned. This line will play a significant role in helping PowerX meet customer needs, especially in the lead-up to expanding production capabilities in the upcoming years.

As part of its production capacity strategy, PowerX has ensured ample delivery capability to its clients. By the fiscal year ending December 2027, the company will operate two facilities: the headquarters plant and the Okayama No. 2 factory, located within the Mitsui E&S Tamano plant. The subsequent fiscal year, ending in December 2028, will see the inclusion of the Hokkaido plant, bringing the total to three operational sites.
