On May 14, 2026, the Royal Mint unveiled an exceptional commemorative coin honoring the legendary band Pink Floyd. This special edition coin marks a significant moment, celebrating over half a century since the band first emerged from the underground music scene in London to redefine modern music.

The coin's design is striking, featuring the iconic prism associated with Pink Floyd's seminal album, The Dark Side of the Moon, on its reverse side. This imagery is one of the most recognizable symbols in music history and represents the band's visionary approach to art and sound. Some limited edition coins will include a special rainbow prism effect, enhancing the iconic design with vibrant colors.
