Aduna Boosts Global Network API Adoption at the Mobile World Congress 2026

Aduna's Global Leap in Network API Adoption

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, Aduna - a global aggregator of standardized network APIs - unveiled significant growth milestones illustrating the company’s commitment to accelerating international adoption of telecommunications network APIs. The organization has become a key partner for 15 major providers in digital identity, fraud prevention, and communications, with additional collaborations on the horizon.

This remarkable momentum is rooted in Aduna's strategic partnership formed in 2025 with Comviva, a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra and a global leader in digital transformation solutions. This collaboration is particularly noteworthy as it brings to life aggregated network APIs based on CAMARA, which will be made available through AWS. This development greatly enhances access for enterprises seeking standardized telecommunications capabilities via a reliable cloud platform.

Aduna was launched in July 2025 as a joint venture between Ericsson and twelve leading telecommunications operators worldwide, including major players such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefonica, Vodafone, Bharti Airtel, Jio, KDDI, Singtel, and Telstra. The initiative aims to offer global access to standardized and interoperable network APIs through a unique unified platform, simplifying the API landscape for developers.

Built upon the CAMARA open-source initiative led by the GSMA and the Linux Foundation, Aduna significantly streamlines developers’ access to advanced capabilities offered by mobile networks globally. This platform serves as a convergence point for aggregators, large enterprises, solution providers, and digital-native companies wanting to scale their services worldwide without navigating the complexity of fragmented telecommunications integrations.

Since its inception, Aduna has broadened its supply network significantly, now providing API services across key regions including the United States, Germany, Spain, Canada, France, and the Netherlands. In the upcoming months, API services are set to expand further into Australia, Brazil, India, Greece, Singapore, Thailand, and the UK, enhancing its operational reach to encompass 40 mobile operators. Ongoing partnerships on both the supply and demand sides point to the robust momentum characterizing the company’s trajectory since becoming fully operational in 2025.

Anthony Bartolo, Aduna’s CEO, expressed enthusiasm about these advancements, stating, "Aduna was established to help telecommunications operators transform standardization into monetization. We enable businesses around the world to innovate faster, safer, and at scale. The arrival of these new partners in our ecosystem is a testament to our collective commitment to accelerate the global network API economy and create value in the digital ecosystem. We are thrilled to participate in Mobile World Congress 2026, broadening our reach while establishing new partnerships with innovative suppliers and clients who recognize the value of insights in the mobile telecommunications universe."
