A Dual Celebration: QURULI's 30th and LUMINE EST SHINJUKU's 20th Anniversary
LUMINE EST SHINJUKU, run by LUMINE Co., Ltd. based in Shibuya, Tokyo, is reaching a major milestone as it celebrates its 20th anniversary on April 1, 2026. Since its opening in 2006, the establishment has become a fashionable hub for young people, helping to set trends from Shinjuku.
To commemorate two decades of success, LUMINE EST SHINJUKU kicks off the anniversary project "LUMINE EST SHINJUKU 20th Twinkle Twenty" beginning in April 2026. This year-long celebration embraces a shiny and heartwarming campaign filled with exciting events in gratitude for the continuous support received over the years.
One of the highlights of this anniversary is the collaboration with the rock band QURULI, which is also marking its own milestone: the band's 30th anniversary. Both entities will celebrate together by launching a special music video (MV) for QURULI's iconic song, "Good Morning," set against the backdrop of Shinjuku.
"Good Morning" is a cherished track from their 2004 album "Antenna". It paints a vivid picture of young wanderers—lured by hopes and dreams—navigating the bustling city of Shinjuku, a scenario the band’s vocalist, Shigeru Kishida, crafted when he was in his early twenties.
This music video, reflecting the dreams and inspirations gathered at LUMINE EST SHINJUKU, will be displayed from September 14 to November 11, 2026, across various digital screens within the venue and released on QURULI's official YouTube channel.
A Spectacular Popup Shop and Events Ahead
In conjunction with the celebrations, a special Popup Shop titled “QURULI's 30th Rotation” will be held from September 21 to September 30, 2026. This shop will feature exclusive merchandise, including a limited-edition “30th Rotation” T-shirt and other memorabilia, ahead of the Kyoto Music Expo 2026. Shoppers can access these unique items only at the LUMINE EST venue.
Following this, a captivating exhibition called “The Unstoppable Charm” will showcase diverse typography designs from the creative studio “More, Love TYPO.” The exhibition will run from October 1 to November 11, bringing a new sense of excitement to shopping through its playful designs and decorations throughout the venue. The visual model for this event will be Hana Nagahama, bringing her charm to the campaign as she highlights the multi-faceted joys of shopping.
