On November 14, 2025, Team Novo Nordisk announced a significant milestone: a five-year extension of their partnership with the global healthcare powerhouse, Novo Nordisk. This collaboration, which originally began in 2012, aims to empower individuals living with diabetes by showcasing their potential through competitive cycling. The renewal comes on World Diabetes Day, underscoring the team's mission to transform public perceptions of diabetes.

The extended partnership will now run until 2031, marking the longest agreement in the team’s history. Phil Southerland, CEO and Co-Founder of Team Novo Nordisk, emphasized the significance of this renewal, stating, “Over the past thirteen years, our partnership has gone beyond cycling, evolving into a global movement that changes perceptions about diabetes.” This initiative has continuously propelled the narrative that diabetes should not limit ambitions or dreams.

Initially formed to bring together athletes living with type 1 diabetes, Team Novo Nordisk has established itself as a symbol of resilience and capability in the sports arena. The team is set to donate 10% of profits from their international webshop until the end of 2025. This effort further solidifies their commitment to ensuring children with diabetes have access to essential resources and support.
