Lotsful’s Strategic Role in Saitama's Digitalization Efforts
In a significant move towards enhancing digital transformation (DX) within local governments, the talent matching service,
Lotsful, is proud to announce the completion of its second consecutive year of collaboration with the
Saitama Prefectural Government. Operated by
Persol Innovation, Inc., Lotsful has been instrumental in pairing six digital professionals with the Prefecture’s ongoing DX initiatives from April 2025 to March 2026.
The Objective of the DX Project
Saitama Prefecture has established a comprehensive
Digital Transformation Promotion Plan, aiming to harness digital technologies to improve administrative efficiency and citizen services. This plan is executed in three phases:
Digitization, Digitalization, and DX. The core theme revolves around utilizing digital tools to reform work processes and thereby enhance services provided to the community. Lotsful's involvement has focused on
no-code tools and
generative AI to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
Expanding Expertise
In the recent DX project, Lotsful has raised its commitment by allocating
six digital specialists—a notable increase from the five involved in the prior year. These experts are helping to transform administrative tasks through a two-pronged approach:
1.
Cross-departmental planning and analysis to support task transformation (TX).
2.
On-ground assistance to various departments for application development using no-code solutions.
By breaking down work processes and identifying which tasks can be digitized, these specialists are fostering individual business improvements. They are also promoting best practices across departments and nurturing talent that can champion these transformative efforts. The results over the past two years have demonstrated enhanced business practices and the development of effective case studies within the Prefecture, showcasing how digital innovation can proliferate.
Continued Support for Future Initiatives
Looking ahead to Fiscal Year 2028, Lotsful is committed to sustaining its collaboration with Saitama’s DX initiatives. Their ongoing support underscores the platform's dedication to nurturing digital talent and aiding local governments in overcoming regional challenges through innovative tech solutions.
About the Regional Revitalization Talent Support Program
The
Regional Revitalization Talent Support Program, collaboratively backed by the Cabinet Office, aims to facilitate solutions for local issues by matching municipalities with skilled digital personnel. This initiative allows towns and cities to draw from a pool of DX-experienced professionals to ensure their projects benefit from high-level expertise, thus fostering regional reconstruction through digital means.
Lotsful's Impact So Far
Since its inception, Lotsful has demonstrated a strong ability to address labor shortages and drive local revitalization by employing skilled professionals for municipalities. In addition to Saitama, in the last fiscal year, Lotsful assisted projects in
Nagahama City, Nagano, and
Kyoto City, where skilled personnel played crucial roles in advancing DX goals.
By sharing a wealth of experience in personnel management and providing a structured platform for job alignment, Lotsful has assisted numerous councils in their digital endeavors.
A Bright Future Ahead
The rapid evolution of digitalization offers immense possibilities, and with service providers like Lotsful leading the way, local governments are set to become more efficient and citizen-focused. The potential of the
Digital Workforce exemplifies how both regional authorities and skilled individuals can collaborate to create pathways for sustainable growth in the evolving digital landscape.
