Full Sail University to Host Exciting Live EA SPORTS College Football Championship

Full Sail University Hosts EA SPORTS College Football 26 Championship

In an exciting development for esports and college football fans alike, Full Sail University is set to host the EA SPORTS™ College Football 26 Live Championship Broadcast of the Army-Navy Game Tournament, presented by USAA, on December 9, 2025. This spectacular event comes as a part of a growing trend in esports, celebrating one of college football's fiercest rivalries, and will be broadcasted live from the university's Orlando Health Fortress in Winter Park, Florida.

In the lead-up to the championship, a series of qualifier rounds will determine the top four finalists, who will subsequently compete in this high-stakes virtual match, where the Army Black Knights will face off against the Navy Midshipmen. This tournament aims not only to engage fans with an electrifying gaming experience but also to provide Full Sail University students with invaluable real-world exposure in the esports industry.

John P. Saboor, Executive Director and Head of Partnerships at Full Sail University, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, "This exciting news helps to amplify what is another point of positive growth with our partners at EA Sports. We are proud to host this event and are confident that it will deliver an unparalleled experience for our students and graduates."

The collaboration between EA Sports and Full Sail University has deepened over the years. Earlier this year, they announced the return of the Madden NFL 26 Championship Series (MCS 26), which will also take place at the Orlando Health Fortress, thereby marking another successful year of promoting competitive gaming within the university community. This includes a series of select MCS 26 competitions and additional broadcast productions that span from September 2025 through January 2026.

The upcoming Army-Navy Game Tournament adds to this impressive calendar of events. Students enrolled in Full Sail's entertainment media and emerging technologies programs will gain hands-on experience by shadowing EA’s professional crews, assisting in various roles from production to shoutcasting. This will not only enhance their technical skills but will also provide career advancement opportunities in a rapidly evolving industry.

Monica Dinsmore, Head of Esports at EA, shares this excitement, saying, "As the Black Knights and Midshipmen take to the virtual field, we're excited to introduce college football fans to a new gameday tradition that celebrates the increasing connection between gaming and sport. Full Sail University and its students have been incredible partners in helping us shape the future of esports, and we're thrilled to extend that collaboration into EA SPORTS College Football."

Viewers can catch all the action of the Army-Navy Game Tournament, starting at 6 PM EST, streaming live on Twitch and YouTube from the Full Sail University Orlando Health Fortress.
