Who is Bobby King?
Bobby King comes to Odyssey with an impressive background that spans over 30 years in technology leadership roles within both the U.S. Air Force and the private sector. He brings a wealth of experience especially in enterprise IT and cyber infrastructure. Throughout his career, Bobby has successfully managed large-scale, technical initiatives, ensuring critical missions are met with precision in both acquisition and sustainment phases.
As part of his new role, Bobby will be responsible for overseeing the operations across various business sectors at Odyssey, which includes Space and Missile Defense, Aviation, Life Sciences, Cyber, Communications, Networks, Nuclear Deterrence (CCN2), and Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR). His priority will be to maintain high standards in contract performance and ensure customer satisfaction, while also focusing on the well-being of employees and operational efficiency.

In these roles, he managed vital client relationships and provided strategic advisory within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC), especially in enterprise IT and business solutions.
Military Background
Bobby's military career spans an incredible 27 years in the United States Air Force. Notable leadership positions included Chief of the Enterprise IT and Cyber Division for Air Force Acquisition at the Pentagon and Senior Materiel Leader of the Enterprise IT and Cyber Infrastructure Division at Hanscom Air Force Base. During this time, he led a team of 900 personnel overseeing a significant budget of $6.5 billion for enterprise IT and cyber programs in support of the Department of the Air Force, as well as Joint and Coalition forces.

In addition to Bobby’s appointment, Odyssey Systems has strengthened its leadership by bringing in retired U.S. Air Force colonel Mike Harm as Executive Director of the C2ISR business unit and retired U.S. Air Force colonel John Kurian as Executive Director for the Aviation business unit.
