In an exciting announcement, Gugenka, led by CEO Masafumi Mikami, is celebrating the 35th anniversary of "Slayers" by releasing a digital figure service named Holomodel. Starting from September 13, 2025, fans can experience the third costume of the iconic character, Lina Inverse, at the "Slayers 35th Anniversary Exhibition - Goes On" at Tokyo Solamachi.

The major event will take place on the 5th floor in Space 634, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich history of the "Slayers" franchise. Alongside physical exhibit attractions and exclusive merchandise, fans can look forward to the launch of the Holomodel digital figures that can be enjoyed on smartphones and VR devices, including the Meta Quest 3/3S.

What is Holomodel?

Holomodel is an innovative digital figure service that allows fans to enjoy official character figures from their favorite anime and games. With unparalleled versatility, users can adjust poses, expressions, and sizes at will. The use of augmented reality (AR) features enables fans to display their Holomodels in real-world settings, creating opportunities for unique photoshoots alongside Lina Inverse. Furthermore, an additional product, the "Extended Animation," provides a dynamic experience akin to watching an animated sequence of Lina, making interactions more lifelike.

To acquire a Holomodel, fans can purchase a card containing a unique serial code. This code can then be redeemed on the X Market, the platform’s digital marketplace. Notably, if purchased online through the X Market, the corresponding serial card will not be included. Here are the exciting products up for grabs:

35th Anniversary Slayers Exhibition Details

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the original "Slayers" series, a large-scale exhibition will take place at Tokyo Solamachi during the Silver Week. This exhibition will offer fans a journey through the narrative and characters of the series, featuring illustrations, photo spots, and immersive video experiences. Additionally, exclusive merchandise featuring newly illustrated designs will be available in the exhibition’s shop corner.

A special audio guide will be available alongside a paid MR greeting experience with Lina herself, ensuring attendees enjoy a unique opportunity to meet the beloved character in person.
