Ramses the Great Exhibition Overview

Since its launch, the exhibition has attracted over 300,000 attendees, prompting its extension through the New Year. Visitors can experience the rich history represented by Ramses II, often referred to as the "Greatest King," who ruled Egypt for a remarkable 67 years. Ramses II's reign is known for architectural marvels and military successes that symbolize the peak of ancient Egyptian civilization.

One of the exhibition's highlights includes the rare display of Ramses II's coffin, expertly crafted from Lebanese cedar. The complete set, featuring both the coffin and its lid, has not been seen outside of Egypt for decades and is being exhibited due to special cooperation from the Egyptian government. Furthermore, attendees can explore another first-of-its-kind showing of several distinctive statues and artifacts associated with Ramses II, making this a once-in-a-lifetime event to appreciate ancient history.

This exhibition will also incorporate innovative VR experiences, enabling guests to immerse themselves in the world of ancient Egypt. A standout feature allows visitors to journey through the famous temple of Abu Simbel and gain insights from Nefertari, Ramses II's beloved queen, as she narrates the transformative impact of her husband on ancient Egypt.

Lastly, the exhibition is open from March 8, 2025, until January 4, 2026. Admission tickets can be purchased online through the exhibition’s official website and other platforms. Detailed session times, ticket pricing, and special access for VR experiences are provided there for easier planning.

For those who seek to relish in the convergence of ancient history and modern artistry, this event promises to be a deeply enriching experience – a journey back to the time of Ramses the Great.
