The stage is set for the
Coca-Cola STAGE:0 eSPORTS High-School Championship 2026, marking its eighth iteration with thrilling new updates! This year, alongside returning favorites such as
Clash Royale,
League of Legends, and
Fortnite, a fresh title,
Pokémon Unite, joins the competition. Students from high schools and technical colleges across Japan will converge to battle it out in this prestigious eSports tournament.
Registration and Competition Format
Starting
April 2, 2026, teams will have the opportunity to register online via the
official website, with entries closing on
May 21, 2026. The competition will unfold in several phases: preliminary block representative matches will take place across eight regions from June to July, leading up to the semifinals and grand finals scheduled for late July and August respectively.
The Venue for the Grand Finals
This year's grand finals will again take place in
Osaka, a fitting location following the successful event during the
2025 World Expo. The finals will be held at the
COOL JAPAN PARK OSAKA WW Hall, a state-of-the-art entertainment venue situated in Osaka Castle Park, showcasing the pinnacle of high-school eSports.

Eligibility Criteria
The tournament is open to high school students, including those from evening high schools and correspondence courses. Participants must be born between April 2, 2008, and April 1, 2011, and must form teams within their respective schools.
