My Home Corporation Continues Its Support for Bud Brand Award 2026
My Home Corporation, a prominent real estate company, has partnered once again with the Bud Brand Awards for 2026, a prestigious event aimed at promoting young creators and designers. The Bud Brand initiative is a project that aids new talent in showcasing their work on an international stage, specifically at the renowned Milan Design Week, supported by the Japan Design Bank since its inception in 2016.
Last year, Bud Brand made its mark by successfully presenting at the Tortona district of Milan, a hub for innovation and creativity. This year, they continued this trend with a standalone exhibition at the same highly-popular venue, attracting over 10,000 visitors throughout the week. This event not only showcased remarkable designs but also served as an invaluable opportunity for emerging creators to gain visibility on a global platform.
The Bud Brand Award 2026 called for submissions from students and young creators under the age of 35. This year saw more than 100 participants, with ten exceptional works selected to be displayed at the Milan Design Week. The recognition provided by My Home Corporation allows young talent to thrive within the competitive design sector while encouraging innovation and creativity.
In addition to the exhibition, a reporting session for the Bud Brand Award 2026 was held on July 1st at the R.F. Yamakawa showroom in Tsukishima, Tokyo. This meeting provided a platform for sharing experiences and insights from the award event, further promoting the vision of nurturing the next generation of designers.
Looking ahead, preparations for the Bud Brand Award 2027 are already underway, inviting applications from young designers eager to showcase their work in the next Milan Design Week. The theme for 2027 is “Touch,” inviting creators to explore the tactile experiences in design. This initiative emphasizes My Home's commitment to supporting innovative approaches to real estate and design, reflecting their motto of
