Astemo Showcases Innovative Automotive Solutions at AAPEX 2025 in Las Vegas

Astemo's Return to AAPEX 2025

Astemo Americas Aftermarket Division is gearing up for a significant presence at the AAPEX 2025, scheduled from November 4-6 at the Venetian Expo Center in Las Vegas. This year's event will feature a comprehensive display of their evolving lineup of automotive and powersports products, catering to both enthusiasts and professionals in the aftermarket sector.

Astemo has positioned itself as a leading supplier of a wide range of aftermarket components, including electronic throttle bodies, ignition coils, carburetors, and various engine sensors. Gary Plover, Vice President of the Americas Aftermarket Division, emphasized the importance of this year’s AAPEX, stating that it reflects the company's accelerating growth and the strengthening of its partnerships.

“Our transition to the Astemo brand represents our commitment to delivering Original Equipment quality technology to the automotive, motorcycle, and UTV aftermarket,” said Plover.

Over the past year, Astemo has significantly expanded its product offerings. The company has grown its key product categories, notably in electronic throttle bodies and ignition coils, while continuing to innovate in airflow sensors and fuel-system products. This focus on development ensures that Astemo remains at the forefront of the automotive aftermarket industry, delivering products that meet or exceed OE standards.

Additionally, attendees can look forward to viewing Astemo's range of powersports offerings, which includes Nissin brake pads and Showa's suspension components. Notably, a Honda CRF450 Rally motorcycle, piloted by two-time Dakar Rally champion Ricky Brabec, will be on display alongside a model of the Team Penske Astemo Dallara/Chevrolet used in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

Fans of NASCAR and INDYCAR will not want to miss the chance to meet Team Penske's IndyCar driver Scott McLaughlin, who will be making an appearance at the Astemo booth at 3:30 PM on November 5. McLaughlin had a stellar season, achieving nine top-ten finishes and showcasing his skills as one of the top drivers in the series.

Astemo's collaboration with Team Penske marks its 14th consecutive year as a sponsor, specifically for the No. 2 Dallara/Chevrolet driven by Josef Newgarden. This partnership has proven fruitful, contributing to Chevrolet's recent triumph in securing its ninth NTT INDYCAR SERIES Manufacturing Championship since its return to competition in 2012. Astemo not only supplies the necessary fuel-system components for the racing engines but also plays a critical role in the overall performance of these high-powered vehicles.

As a global Tier One provider of mobility solutions, Astemo serves a diverse market across North America and Latin America. The company's extensive network of facilities in North America, including its aftermarket headquarters in Los Angeles, Berea and Harrodsburg in Kentucky, Farmington Hills in Michigan, Lerma in Mexico, and Monroe in Georgia, reinforces its commitment to innovation in automotive technology.

Astemo's impressive portfolio positions it as a leading manufacturer, not only in terms of aftermarket products but also as a key player in the broader automotive industry. Founded as a joint venture collaborating with Hitachi, Honda, and JIC Capital, Astemo operates globally and employs around 80,000 individuals across various continents, including North America, Europe, and Asia.

As the automotive landscape continues to evolve with rapid technological advancements, Astemo remains focused on fostering sustainable practices while enhancing corporate value.
