Paradigm for Parity Welcomes Sandra Quince as President of Board of Directors



On January 14, 2025, Paradigm for Parity®, a dedicated nonprofit organization striving for gender parity in corporate environments, announced the election of Sandra Quince as the new President of its Board of Directors. This leadership change marks another crucial step towards achieving a more inclusive and equitable workplace across industries worldwide.

Sandra Quince, who previously served as CEO of Paradigm for Parity and has been a long-time advocate for gender inclusion, will assume her new role starting January 1, 2025. Her extensive experience in various leadership positions, including her recent role as Senior Vice President at Bank of America, empowers her to drive substantial change and foster an environment that promotes diversity at the leadership level.

Nadine Bullock-Pottinga, the CEO of Paradigm for Parity, expressed enthusiasm for Quince's new role, stating, "This position is a natural transition for Sandra, and we are thrilled to have her leading our board. Her leadership experience, coupled with her commitment to gender parity, is vital as we aim to encourage actionable measures for equality in the workplace."

Quince’s appointment comes at a time when organizations globally are reassessing their commitment to diversity and inclusion. "After having led Paradigm for Parity during a crucial period, I am honored to now serve as Board President," stated Quince. "Together with my fellow board members and leadership team, I am determined to build on the momentum we have achieved in empowering women within the workforce."

Throughout her career, Sandra Quince has been recognized for her efforts in promoting gender equity and inclusion. Notably, she was selected as one of the 50 Black women acknowledged in the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women Impact Grant and named one of the most inspiring leaders in diversity and inclusion in 2022 by D2L.

Along with the election of Sandra Quince, Paradigm for Parity also announced the addition of two new board members: Janice Ellig and Betty McCormack Howard. Ellig is the CEO of Ellig Group, a renowned executive search firm focused on enhancing inclusive leadership at the C-suite and board levels. She has garnered recognition for her innovative recruitment strategies, making her a powerful advocate for executive diversity. Similarly, McCormack Howard, as Managing Director in HR for Accenture, plays an important role in developing and supporting top talent within the organization, further enhancing the nonprofit’s leadership team.

Bullock-Pottinga highlighted the importance of these new board members, noting, “Both Betty and Janice bring their vast experience in talent management, which will be invaluable as we continue to drive meaningful change.” The collective expertise of the board members positions Paradigm for Parity to expand its influence and impact on breast awareness initiatives and corporate strategies regarding gender leadership.

Founded in 2015 by a coalition of women executives, Paradigm for Parity aims to support its member companies in achieving gender parity in corporate leadership. With the new appointments and consistent efforts towards gender equity, the organization is poised to make significant strides in advocating for diversity and inclusion in the workplace throughout 2025 and beyond.
