Animal sexuality is fundamentally tied to the survival of the species, as each creature employs astonishing strategies and techniques to ensure the continuation of its lineage. With an aim to share even more fascinating insights that previous exhibitions could not cover, Sunshine Aquarium is bringing back this unique event. Following a two-year hiatus since 2024, the exhibition has revamped its setup, categorizing themes by “Mating Behavior,” “Courtship,” and “Rearing Young.” Visitors will encounter a variety of unique displays that illustrate the differences in the sexual behaviors of animals, complemented by beautifully illustrated educational panels.

This year, several exciting hands-on activities are debuting, including the “Survival Probability Roulette,” where guests can try their luck to find out their odds of survival in the wild, which offers a thrilling glimpse into the harsh realities of nature. Another highlight is the “BinBin Box,” showcasing concealed characteristics of male sea lions, and the popular “MomiMomi Box” that challenges guests to guess the texture of various animal features by touch.
