The competitions will feature the following six game titles, with prizes awarded to the champions of each category with the prestigious “Governor of Tokyo Cup.” Here’s a brief look at each game:

1. eFootball™ Series

3. Taiko no Tatsujin: Don-Deng-Dong Festival

  • - Overview: A rhythm game where players hit a taiko drum in time with the music, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy.

Detailed Competition Information


Entrants can register through the official event website at Tokyo eSports Festa. Comprehensive manuals and regulations for each game will also be updated continuously on the website. The preliminaries and finals will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight South Halls 1 & 2, except for online qualifiers.

- Format: Swiss draw with 5 rounds

2. Gran Turismo 7:
- Registration: November 24, 2025, to December 7, 2025, 23:59
- Online Preliminaries: December 13 or 14, 2025
- Finals: January 11, 2026
- Format: 120 entries on a first-come-first-served basis

3. Taiko no Tatsujin:
- Registration: December 1, 2025, to December 14, 2025, 23:59
- Finals: January 10, 2026
- Format: Single-elimination tournament

4. Puzzle & Dragons:
- Registration: November 4, 2025, to November 25, 2025, 11:59
- Online Preliminaries: November 17, 2025, to November 24, 2025
- Finals: January 10, 2026
- Unlimited participants

5. Puyo Puyo:
- Registration: November 17, 2025, to December 14, 2025
- On-site Preliminaries: January 11, 2026
- Format: Single-elimination tournament

6. Street Fighter 6:
- Registration: December 1, 2025, to December 14, 2025, 23:59
- On-site Preliminaries: January 10, 2026
- Format: Single-elimination tournament
