In a historic gathering for the culinary world, Antigua, Guatemala, hosted the unveiling of the 13th edition of Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants on December 3, 2025. Sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, this prestigious ranking showcased a myriad of culinary talents from 21 cities across Latin America.
At the forefront of this year’s list is El Chato, a contemporary fine dining establishment located in Bogotá, Colombia, helmed by the talented chef Álvaro Clavijo. This recognition marks a significant milestone not just for El Chato but also for Colombian cuisine on the global stage. Additionally, Bianca Mirabili of Evvai was named Latin America's Best Pastry Chef. The Sustainable Restaurant Award went to Oda, also located in Bogotá, emphasizing the growing trend in sustainable practices in the restaurant industry.
