This special event combines two hands-on childcare programs: “Eki Iku” (Station Activity) and “Taku Iku” (Exploration Activity) for the very first time. Starting from the Tobu Sky Tree Station, families will embark on a private journey featuring the Liberty train to the Tobu Zoo and return on the Ryomo train, making the travel time an unforgettable part of the adventure.

A Unique Journey Begins

This initiative is part of the Tobu Group’s “TOBU Open Innovation Program”, which aims to enhance local engagement through railway and surrounding area experiences. The journey from the Tobu Sky Tree Station is designed to provide a genuine encounter with real trains and stations. Children will experience the thrill of riding two different express trains, turning the transit time into a memorable adventure.

The Exciting Dual Program: “Eki Iku” and “Taku Iku”

The “Eki Iku” program allows children to step into the shoes of station staff, offering activities such as making announcements, exploring the ticket machine, and seeing the station master’s office—experiences rarely accessible to the public. On the other hand, the “Taku Iku” program enables kids to learn about wildlife through hands-on experiences, including feeding white tigers at the Tobu Zoo and observing animal behavior alongside zookeepers. Both activities are facilitated by skilled childcare professionals who ensure that kids have a safe and enjoyable time while parents have the freedom to relax for five hours.

Meeting Location: Tobu Sky Tree Station East Ticket Gate
Eligibility: Children from ages 4 to 7 (born between April 2, 2018, and April 1, 2021)
Capacity: 24 participants each for both “Eki Iku” and “Taku Iku” on a first-come, first-served basis
Participation Fee: 20,000 yen (tax included), which covers T-shirts, lunch, accident insurance, train fare, entrance fee, and feeding costs. Transportation to the meeting point is not included.
