Poplar Publishing Shares Innovative Reading Experience at Tokyo Education Conference

Poplar Publishing Takes Center Stage at Tokyo Education Conference

On August 21, 2025, Poplar Publishing, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, will showcase its groundbreaking reading service, Yomokka!, at the Tokyo venue of the "Exploration and Administrative Reform Support Service Experience Event" organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry. This event aims to provide educators, local government officials, and other stakeholders in education with hands-on experiences of innovative educational services implemented under the 2025 Subsidy Program for Supporting Future Human Resources Development.

What is Yomokka!?

The Yomokka! service is designed to offer a transformative reading experience for children, emphasizing the concept of “Read Anytime, Anywhere, as Much as You Want!” With approximately 5,000 titles available from 43 participating publishers, Yomokka! serves as an all-you-can-read e-library. It not only encourages children who love books but also serves as a gateway for reluctant readers to explore the world of literature. This no-cost service allows children to immerse themselves in diverse reading materials, sparking curiosity and expanding their literary horizons.
