Littera Education Expands Board of Directors with Exciting New Additions
Littera Education is proud to announce the appointment of two influential figures to its Board of Directors: Sarah Glover and Chip Robertson. These seasoned professionals bring substantial expertise in the realms of K-12 and higher education, reinforcing the organization's mission as it enters a new phase of growth.
Meet the New Board Members
Sarah Glover is not only a founding member of the executive leadership team but also has an impressive track record in education. Previously, she served as the Vice President of Client Success at Panorama Education and held the position of Executive Director at the Strategic Data Project (SDP) at Harvard University's Center for Education Policy Research. Furthermore, Sarah has been actively involved in her local education system as an elected member of the school board in Bozeman, Montana. Her significant contributions extend to co-founding the Outcomes Based Contracting Center (OBC), where she transformed a relatively obscure framework into a robust national network that advances educational outcomes for students across the country.
In her own words, Sarah shared, "I've had the opportunity to work with the Littera team during my time with the Outcomes Based Contracting Center. Littera has long embraced getting paid based on student outcomes, not just delivering services. I'm thrilled to join the team and support the scale up of their work at both the state and national levels."
Chip Robertson, the co-managing director at Warland Investments Company, also joins the Board with a wealth of experience. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for the University of California College of Law, San Francisco since 2011. His dedication to educational excellence is reflected in his role on the Board of Visitors for the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies, as well as his membership on the Advisory Board for the UC/CSU Collaborative for Neuroscience, Diversity, and Learning. Chip has also contributed to various independent K-6 and 1-12 boards of trustees, demonstrating a versatile commitment to enhancing educational standards.
Expressing his excitement, Chip stated, "I'm excited to be a part of the Littera team and assist in expanding the educational opportunities for students, especially differentiated learners. The platform's data collection is a powerful tool to foster collaboration in the interest of student outcomes. I also see immense potential to expand partnerships with educational organizations to drive deeper connections with K12 organizations."
The Vision Forward
Justin Serrano, the Founder and CEO of Littera Education, expressed high hopes for what these new board members will bring to the company. He noted, "As we head into the new year, we are excited to expand our partnerships with districts and student-serving organizations. Sarah and Chip will be indispensable partners as we bring Littera to greater scale. In addition to their depth of experience in education and business, they both share our passion to deliver outcomes for students."
