Nestled on the 7th floor of the Kitamura camera shop in Shinjuku, Tokyo, the newly opened "Kitamura Photo Studio by MERCI" is a photography haven that combines natural light with antique aesthetics. This year, a unique Christmas photography event will take place between November and December, showcasing exquisite photo sets designed exclusively for the season. Under the creative direction of renowned photographer Mizuki, known for her one-of-a-kind artistic vision, the studio guarantees a warm and memorable experience capturing life's precious moments amidst an enchanting classical backdrop.

Exclusive Christmas Setup


The special Christmas sets include a delightful collection of ornaments sourced from Europe, charming teddy bears, vintage trunks, and an array of unique items that truly embody the essence of the holiday season. This limited-time event allows visitors to step into a magical world where they can create cherished memories with their loved ones.

Attendees will not only partake in a photoshoot but enjoy a brief tour of the studio, making it accessible to first-time visitors as well. Each photo session promises to be an unforgettable moment, as Mizuki takes the time to engage with each group individually, providing a personalized experience that brings their desired images to life. On the day of the event, participants will receive one digital photo from their session to take home as a keepsake, beautifully preserving their experience surrounded by the warmth of antiques.

Dates and Times:
  • - Friday, November 14, 2025, from 13:00 to 19:00 (Last check-in at 18:30)
  • - Friday, November 21, 2025, from 13:00 to 19:00 (Last check-in at 18:30)
  • - Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 15:00 to 19:00 (Last check-in at 18:30)
December dates will be announced on the official Instagram account upon confirmation.

Fee: ¥5,500 (including tax)
Includes:
Photography session with the special Christmas set, one digital photo, and a studio tour.
Guests who book on the day will receive a discount voucher worth ¥5,500 for future sessions, redeemable with a minimum spend of ¥27,500 on the day of their booking.

Session Duration: Approximately 30 minutes per group.
Reservation Method: Pre-booking is required (limited slots for each time slot).

Note:
Families with multiple children will receive only one photo. We do not offer costume rental, dressing services, or make-up. No changing facilities are available.
