Serial Games Unveils Two Exciting Titles at TGS 2025 Event

Tokyo-based Serial Games (CEO: Masaru Yoshizawa) will be participating in the Indie Games Corner at Tokyo Game Show 2025, taking place from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. This year, the company is excited to showcase two upcoming titles: the whimsical puzzle game, 'Puzz Mao - Puzzle and Magical Overlord', and the underground idol-themed escape adventure, 'Gachi Koi Cap-Tivity♡Merutiholic.'

This exhibition marks the first public appearance of 'Gachi Koi,' making it a highly anticipated debut.

Booth Preview for TGS 2025

The booth this year will feature distinct areas for both 'Puzz Mao' and 'Gachi Koi'. The 'Puzz Mao' section is designed to highlight the vibrant graphics and gameplay enhancements since its initial unveiling last year. Visitors will find impressive large-format panels showcasing eight characters from the game, alongside an opportunity to try out the updated version where players can choose from four characters, including the protagonist Fal.

The 'Gachi Koi' section, inspired by the decayed urban settings in which the game unfolds, serves as an engaging photo spot. Attendees can watch a promotional video for the game, meet Ruito Inukubo, the main character, through character panels, and take part in a unique photo event that resembles a Cheki gathering.

About 'Puzz Mao - Puzzle and Magical Overlord'

'Is it true that we decide the Demon Lord through puzzle competitions?' In a world ravaged by the war between humans and demons, where humanity met its end due to internal strife, the remaining demons sought to avoid the same fate. They decided to resolve their disagreements in a game called the Puzzle Tournament to crown their new Demon Lord.

Meet Fal, a kind-hearted young demon living in a rural village who finds it impossible to ignore those in need. His sister, Yule, loves teasing him with misleading tales and decides to motivate him into becoming the Demon Lord so that she can live comfortably. Unbeknownst to Fal, he rises to the challenge in pursuit of this newfound goal.
