Soccer Mental No.1 Championship Talk Live
On July 24, 2026, a significant event will take place in Tokyo: the second edition of the
Soccer Japan Representative Mental No.1 Championship talk live, this time led by former Japanese national soccer player
Koji Morisaki. Organized by
Idea Human Support Services in collaboration with the
Japan Mental Trainer Association, this event promises a deep dive into the mental fortitude that athletes possess.
Event Background and Objective
The
Idea Mental Training Individual School has teamed up with the
Japan Mental Trainer Association to hold an exciting competition that invites fans to vote on who they believe possesses the strongest mental resolve among present-day soccer players via social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). The voting results will guide the final judgment, made by esteemed judges from the realm of soccer, including Morisaki himself.
The first judging event is scheduled for July 19, with renowned player
Akihiro Endo taking the lead. Following that, Morisaki will preside on July 24, where he will share insights from his personal experience battling mental health challenges during his professional career, including overcoming depression multiple times while achieving
three J-League championships with Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
In our modern society, coping mechanisms and the ability to navigate adversities are crucial. Morisaki aims to communicate these valuable lessons by leveraging his expertise in mental strength and cognitive agility.
Attendees on July 24 will not only have the chance to hear specific stories and advice but also participate in an exclusive program known as
IDEAR Neuro Training. This initiative combines cognitive enhancement techniques with mental training, focusing on spatial awareness skills, a key element emphasized by Morisaki.
