Dive Takes on Operations for Okinawa Tourism Career College

This project is part of the "Reiwa 8 Annual Tourism Workforce Development Promotion Program" aiming to foster a new generation of talent within the region's tourism sector.
About Okinawa Tourism Career College
The Okinawa Tourism Career College is a training program tailored for young and mid-level staff working in various tourism-related businesses, including accommodations, tourist facilities, travel agencies, car rental services, and transport industries. Now entering its eighth year, the program has successfully produced a significant number of graduates. This year's curriculum focuses on two key pillars: hospitality and operational improvements. Participants will engage in both theoretical learning and practical exercises, including group discussions and fieldwork, aimed at enhancing skills that can be applied directly in their workplaces.

- - Training Period: September 18, 2026, to January 22, 2027 (total of 10 sessions)
- - Training Format: 6 sessions online, 4 sessions in person (venue: Okinawa Convention Center and others)
- - Cost: Free (funded by public resources as part of Okinawa's tourism policy)
- - Eligibility: Staff related to tourism businesses or organizations in Okinawa, including:
- Entry Level: Employees in their first to third year aiming for future leadership roles.
- Current Leaders: Those with 4 to 10 years of experience aiming for management or executive roles.
- - Capacity: 15 participants for each entry and leader level (up to 3 participants per company).
- - Certification: Participants who meet completion requirements will receive a certificate issued by the Governor of Okinawa Prefecture.
