Engaging Young Minds: Tetra Pak's Workshop at Osaka Expo 2025
On September 27, 2025, Japanese Tetra Pak, a leading supplier of food processing and paper packaging systems, hosted an interactive workshop for children at the Nordic Pavilion of the Osaka Expo 2025. This workshop aimed to teach kids about recycling through hands-on experiences and is a pivotal part of Tetra Pak's sustainability initiatives.
The workshop, in collaboration with the SWiTCH association, provided young participants with an engaging platform to explore issues related to global warming and the importance of recycling paper cartons. It was not only informative but also encouraged practical involvement through crafting activities using recycled materials.
Event Structure and Highlights
The event was split into three sessions: morning, afternoon, and evening, with a total of 72 elementary students from Osaka participating, selected by lottery. The program was hosted by Maika Saza, the representative of SWiTCH, who kicked off the event with an insightful introduction by Aya Keu, Tetra Pak's Communication Manager, explaining the company’s mission and the workings of their paper cartons.
