Asia's 50 Best Bars Unveils Extended 51-100 List for 2026

Asia's 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, has recently announced the sixth edition of its 51–100 list for 2026. This release celebrates the rich diversity and innovation within Asia’s cocktail scene, just ahead of the live awards ceremony set to take place in Macau.

This year, the extended list features 11 new entries, affirming both the rising talent and changing drinking preferences throughout the region. The new list spans across 25 cities, spotlighting a mix of established bar capitals and emerging destinations.

Notably, Singapore dominates the extended list with seven bars, two of which - BOP (ranked No.52) and Bar Bon Funk (No.90) - are newcomers, with BOP securing the title of the highest-positioned new entry. Kuala Lumpur also makes a mark with four bars, including the debut of Cabinet 8 at No.65. Similarly, Tokyo and Seoul each feature four bars, introducing fresh entries like The Bar at the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo at No.75 and Charles H in Seoul at No.87.

A standout from the list is The Enigma Mansion in Ho Chi Minh City, which impressed by jumping 38 spots to No.55, marking the highest increase on this year's extended list. Additionally, mainland China is solidifying its presence on the cocktail map with emerging cities like Hangzhou, featuring the debut of Chimney (No.91), and Beijing with its Bar Long Fong (No.96).

Emerging destinations such as Galle and Makati have also made their first appearances on the list, showcasing the expanding landscape of Asia's bar culture.

Faye Huggett, Director of Community for Asia’s 50 Best Bars, expressed admiration for the creative developments in the bar scene, stating, “It’s inspiring to witness the emergence of establishments that honor their local cultures and ingredients. From mainland China to Southeast Asia to the Indian subcontinent, skilled professionals continue to push the boundaries of cocktail creativity.”

The esteemed ranking is determined by an influential group known as Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy. This body is composed of over 300 bartenders, bar owners, drinks journalists, and cocktail experts from the region, who vote for venues that offer exceptional bar experiences across Asia.

The grand announcement of the Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 will occur at a live awards ceremony taking place in Macau on July 28, 2026. The event, in partnership with Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, will be streamed live on the 50 Best YouTube channel starting at 2000 Macau time.
