'Firebird' opened the festival’s Social Impact category, affirming the importance of storytelling in enhancing awareness around societal challenges. It showcases the profound impact of one woman’s survival story, weaving a narrative that transforms pain and suffering into empowerment and hope. Dolma, the film’s protagonist, embodies resilience. Two decades ago, she fell victim to human trafficking, but through sheer determination, she now dedicates her life to liberating others trapped in similar circumstances. “If telling my story can help girls escape brothels or any kind of sexual abuse, I will keep telling it,” she shared passionately.
