The Theme of 'Eyes'

The exhibition 'Eyes' challenges visitors to contemplate the essence of perception through the careful examination of gaze. Each of the four artists explores the act of looking and what lies beyond that simple action. These chosen motifs transcend mere artistic fabrication, embodying the artists’ deep engagement with the world and their reflections on how they manifest that vision through their brushwork.

The gaze captured by the artists serves as a voice for the painter, quietly yet powerfully penetrating the viewer's existence. This leads us to question whether we believe we are simply observing the artwork or if we are being exposed to the gaze of others embodied within these creations.

The Artistic Intersection

As our eyes intersect with the 'eyes' portrayed in the paintings, the once-flat canvas begins to possess depth, stirring unexpected emotions and memories. This interplay of perspectives provides the central theme of the exhibition, forming a space for pure communication that transcends words.

As four distinct visions converge in this space, what emerges at the intersection of seeing and being seen? We invite everyone to experience this tactile awareness firsthand during the exhibition.
