This year, the afternoon tea features a special limited-edition lacquered stand, offering a lavish introduction to the world of Uji tea through gourmet pairings of sweets and savory dishes. The highlight of this luxurious offering is the matcha mascarpone cream tiramisu, created exclusively for the lacquered stands—each day, only five pairs will have the opportunity to enjoy it.

Guests can anticipate tasting an array of expertly crafted sweets, including mini parfaits combining four types of tea: genmaicha, matcha, hojicha, and Earl Grey, delivering delightful layers of flavor.

  • - Welcome Tea: A unique blend crafted by Grand Tea Master featuring Tsujiri’s tea.

Pricing for the week-day standard afternoon tea starts at 7,000 yen, while weekends see a slightly higher rate of 7,500 yen. The special lacquered stand experience costs 10,000 yen regardless of the day and requires a reservation—limited to five pairs per day.

On June 25, 2026, FAUCHON Hotel Kyoto will also host an exclusive dinner event at its rooftop restaurant, "Grand Café FAUCHON." This special evening will focus on pairing matcha and other beverages with a meticulously crafted French course menu. The event includes five dishes, each harmoniously coupled with different teas from Tsujiri, guided by their representative, Shinsuke Tsuji. This dinner offers a comprehensive sensory journey, ensuring a memorable evening filled with delicious cuisine and captivating stories about tea.
