MGM Resorts and Playtech Enhance Live Gaming with Family Feud Launch from Las Vegas

MGM Resorts and Playtech Expand Live Gaming Options with Family Feud

MGM Resorts International and Playtech have partnered to elevate the gaming experience by introducing a fresh addition to their acclaimed "Live from Vegas" series. This latest offering debuts the beloved game show Family Feud, streamed live from the bustling MGM Grand casino floor in Las Vegas.

Revolutionizing Live Gaming

On August 28, 2025, the two companies announced that Family Feud will be integrated into their live dealer offerings, marking a groundbreaking moment as it becomes the first interactive game show ever broadcast live from a casino floor in Las Vegas and accessible to operators in regulated markets outside the United States.

The live dealer studio at MGM Grand is designed to create a fully immersive gaming experience, allowing viewers to engage with the show while also participating in traditional table games like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. These games are hosted in a transparent glass studio that is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week, further bridging the gap between the online and physical gaming environments.

A Commitment to Innovation

Gary Fritz, President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, expressed enthusiasm over the collaboration, stating that this partnership positions MGM at the forefront of digital gaming while bringing the iconic Las Vegas experience to a global audience. He highlighted that this live dealer studio not only reflects MGM's growth strategy but also underscores their dedication to enhancing the enjoyment of the Las Vegas Strip's offerings.

The launch of Family Feud builds on the successful introduction of Live from Vegas in June 2024, which included several live dealer table games from the MGM Grand and Bellagio Resort Casino. This latest announcement signifies the second phase of the MGM-Playtech partnership, promising to deliver distinctive live gaming experiences that are fully compliant and focused on player protection.

Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech, added that unveiling their complete suite of live-streamed experiences symbolizes a shared commitment to redefining the landscape of live gaming entertainment. He praised the innovative collaboration, which is expected to foster growth in regulated markets through unique and engaging content.

A New Era of Interactive Gameplay

Suzanne Lopez, COO at Fremantle, emphasized the unique nature of this collaboration, stating that integrating Family Feud into a live dealer format is a first. Contestants will answer questions based on genuine survey data from the Family Feud franchise, providing a rich and authentic game show experience.

As the partnership between MGM Resorts and Playtech continues to develop, both entities have ambitious plans to expand their portfolio with an array of entertainment offerings known to Las Vegas. Their combined efforts aim to promote safe and responsible gambling experiences while captivating audiences with enhanced gaming content.
