About the Author: Satoko Miyano

Satoko Miyano graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, majoring in information design. After working in a graphic design company and a children’s book specialty store, she became a picture book author. Her notable works include 'Ensoku Onigiri' (Kodansha), 'Pants Did You Wear Them Properly?' (Kyoiku Gakugeki), 'Tomodachi no Hikkoshi' (PHP Kenkyusho), 'Little Cute Lunch Box' (Shogakukan), and the 'Kimagure Restaurant' series (Kin no Hoshi Sha) among others. She won the 7th Liblo Picture Book Award for 'The Happiest Gift' (Kyoiku Gakugeki).
