Gaiax Launches Entrepreneurial Education Program



Gaiax, an innovative firm headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is stepping up its efforts to promote entrepreneurial education in the Hokuriku region, which includes Ishikawa, Toyama, and Fukui prefectures. This initiative comes as part of a collaborative effort with local universities and colleges under a platform called Tech Startup HOKURIKU (TeSH).

The new program, titled TeSH Entrepreneurial Education Support Program, aims to introduce young individuals to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. From December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, the program will engage students and educators alike, providing free educational resources that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each institution.

Objectives of the Program


The overarching goal of the program is to enhance awareness and practical experience in entrepreneurship within the Hokuriku area. For students, it aims to develop essential skills such as problem-solving and creativity. Additionally, it seeks to assist young minds in refining their entrepreneurial ideas. For educators, the program offers insights into the purposes and benefits of entrepreneurial education, helping to inspire and inform their teaching methodologies.

The TeSH Entrepreneurial Education Support Program will feature:
  • - Career lectures held in gymnasiums or auditoriums for all students or specific grades.
  • - Workshops and supportive comments at student presentations, tailored for selected classes or interested students.
  • - Individual support for participants preparing for business contests.
  • - Training sessions for educators focused on entrepreneurship education.

Schools from Ishikawa, Toyama, and Fukui that cater to grades 4 through 12 can apply for this program, but there will be a limit of ten schools based on a first-come, first-served basis.

His extensive background includes a focus on digital transformation and entrepreneurial education in high schools.

Other notable instructors include:
  • - Yuna Asahara: An educator dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial initiatives across the nation after a rich history in academic and career education. She has been a transformative force in the realm of student-driven learning initiatives.
  • - Junichiro Murakami: A former financial consultant who transitioned to education, focusing on empowering students through career readiness programs based on community and academic collaboration.

Participating schools will need to prepare:
