With extended hours from Tuesday to Sunday, this summer promises to be epic at Silicon Valley's premier science and technology hub. Whether you're fascinated by science, love hands-on activities, or just want to enjoy a summer filled with fun, there's something for everyone.

What’s Happening?

From massive domino builds to engaging workshops and thrilling movie screenings on the West Coast’s largest IMAX Dome, The Tech Interactive is the ultimate destination for sensational summer fun!

Interactive Experiences and Activities

At The Tech, you can explore a whopping 130,000 square feet of interactive exhibits, including the newly introduced AI-powered Dream Garden. This summer doesn’t just welcome you to watch; it invites you to participate! Engage in various activities such as

• - Building Solar Ovens for roasting marshmallows
• - Molecular Gastronomy workshops that invite experimentation in flavor and texture
• - Exciting Pop-Up Science Activities run throughout the summer

Natalie Taylor, Vice President of Engagement Experiences at The Tech, shared, “If Summer at The Tech were a mixtape, it'd be packed with science hits, hands-on jams, and blockbuster IMAX tracks.” Visitors can look forward to events such as Tech at Nite, which offers an adult twist to the middle school field trips we all loved.

Special Events

This summer isn't just about exhibits. Here’s a sneak peek of special events and highlights scheduled throughout the season:

• - Totally IMAXed Out: Catch blockbusters in the IMAX Dome theater such as F1 from June 26 to July 5, Superman from July 10 to 20, and The Grateful Dead Movie on August 16–17. And don’t forget the daily documentaries included with general admission like T. Rex, Blue Whales, and more!
• - Wild Rescue in IMAX: This family-friendly film chronicles real-life animal rescue stories and opens on June 27.
• - Tech Topple: From July 13–19, witness a mesmerizing spectacle as expert builders construct an astounding 50,000-domino composition, culminating in a live event known as The Big Topple on July 19.
• - Shark Week: From July 20–26, join themed activities celebrating sharks and the premiere of a new IMAX documentary Shark Kingdom. And enjoy a special screening of Jaws on August 30–September 1 in honor of its 50th anniversary.
• - Sock Skating Rink: From July 22 to August 3, enjoy a vibrant, music-fueled sock skating rink.
• - Tech at Nite: Join us on July 24 for an event catering to adults, featuring DJs, drinks, and hands-on experiments.
