Zaxby's Opens Its First Location in Phoenix, Arizona

Zaxby's, the popular chicken restaurant chain known for its signature Chicken Fingerz™ and variety of flavorful sauces, is gearing up to open its doors in Phoenix, Arizona. This marks the brand's first-ever location in the state and an exciting addition to the West Coast dining scene. Slated to open on August 13, 2025, the new establishment will operate under the management of franchisees Brian and Jessica Nelson of BOCKBOCK, LLC, offering both dine-in and drive-thru services.

Celebrating the Grand Opening

To mark this significant occasion, Zaxby's is hosting a grand opening event on August 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony graced by remarks from Zaxby's Chief Operating Officer, Sharlene Smith, and franchisee owner Brian Nelson. The first 100 guests will be treated to free Zaxby's meals for 6 months, which includes popular items such as 5 Chicken Fingerz™, the Big Zax Snak® Meal, Zaxby's Signature Sandwich, and Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries. Additional celebrations will include a 360° photo booth, exciting prizes, a DJ, and fun photo opportunities with Zaxby's props.

Expanding Horizons

Sharlene Smith commented on this expansion, saying, “Following the tremendous success of our Las Vegas opening, we are thrilled to bring Zaxby's to Phoenix, Arizona. This new location allows us to introduce our famous Fingerz and sauces to more fans and further expand our reach in the West.”

The Phoenix location follows Zaxby's successful entry into Las Vegas earlier this year, and it aims to tap into Arizona's vibrant food scene. This expansion marks a significant step for Zaxby's as it targets an increase in brand awareness and franchise opportunities across the United States. It is projected to be part of Zaxby's goal of surpassing its 1,000th location by the end of 2025.

Restaurant Features

Occupying 3,000 square feet, the new Zaxby's will include seating for up to 56 customers. Additionally, it will feature a dual drive-thru and curbside pickup options to ensure a seamless dining experience. The modern farmhouse design of the restaurant will highlight Zaxby's bright branding, logo, and artistic elements inspired by signature sauces.

Customers will also have the convenience of placing orders online via zaxbys.com, through the Zaxby’s app, or platforms like GrubHub. The app, available on Google Play and the App Store, offers additional features such as delivery through overwhelming choices like DoorDash and UberEats.

Menu Highlights

Zaxby's diverse menu includes freshly prepared Chicken Fingerz™, wings with an array of bold sauces, and a selection of popular sides like Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries and Fried Pickles. Fans can also enjoy a refreshing line of crafted milkshakes available in classic flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, topping it off with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry.
