Human Holdings Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo, proudly announces that 197 individuals have successfully obtained the SELFing Coach certification. This achievement marks a significant step in the company's ongoing commitment to fostering personal development and coaching within its workforce.

Having established a unique internal qualification system, known as the SELFing certification, in 2021, the company aims to demonstrate the power of personal growth through coaching. In this recent round of certification examinations, held for the second time, a total of 104 employees surpassed the previous pass rate, bringing the cumulative successful candidates to 197.

The SELFing Coach certification not only confirms that these individuals have demonstrated practical coaching skills but also verifies their ability to foster growth and challenge each employee, thus leading them toward realizing their desired selves.

The requirements for the SELFing Coach certification include already holding the SELFing Supporter qualification, along with practical experience conducting SELFing sessions in a coaching role.

The latest certification examination, which saw a pass rate of approximately 66%, indicates that 104 employees from the group achieved the SELFing Coach qualification, totaling 197 successful candidates since the program's inception.

  • - Exam Format: Written examination and coaching assessment
  • - Written Exam: 33 questions (30 multiple-choice, 3 written)
  • - Assessment Areas: 13 questions on practical coaching and 20 questions on foundational coaching knowledge
  • - Coaching Evaluation: Conducted through SELFing sessions (1-on-1) with client-based feedback covering various skills rated on a 5-point scale.
  • - Eligibility Requirements: Must be a registered employee of the organization (excluding temporary and inactive employees) with prior certification as a SELFing Supporter and experience conducting 1-on-1 sessions.
  • - Passing Criteria: Score of 80 or above on the written portion and 3 or above on the coaching evaluation scale.
