Ogata Village, once surrounded by the second largest lake in Japan, Hachirogata, has undergone significant transformation through land reclamation. Recently chosen as a pioneering decarbonization region in the fiscal year 2024, Ogata Village is actively engaging in a biomass energy supply business utilizing its agricultural byproducts.
