SOS from the Sea: An Exciting Call to Action
On November 9, 2025, the Open House Group, led by President Ryosuke Fukuoka, will host an engaging event titled "Protect Dolphins’ Home: Exciting Ocean Cleanup Project" at the Noah Dolphin Dome in Sakai.
This initiative marks a continuation of the company's commitment to sustainability, following previous events focused on endangered species awareness and workshops utilizing leftover wood from construction. In collaboration with the Noah Dolphin Dome, located in the historic Sakai Old Port area, participants will have the opportunity to learn about marine ecosystems in a fun and interactive setting.
Event Highlights
1.
Learn: Marine and Forest SDGs Classroom
Attendees will engage in a quiz-based session that teaches them about the ecology of sea creatures, the impact of waste on ocean environments, and the intricate relationship between forests and the sea.
2.
Experience: Ocean Cleanup Challenge
Participants will get their hands dirty as they help clean up around the Noah Dolphin Dome. This hands-on experience aims to instill a sense of joy and responsibility regarding keeping our oceans clean.
3.
Interact: Special Time with Dolphins
Following the cleanup, certificates will be awarded to participants as a recognition of their efforts. Additionally, a unique opportunity to engage directly with dolphins will be available.
4.
Create: Recycling Workshop (Optional)
For those interested, there will be a workshop focusing on creating eco-friendly crafts using recycled materials such as plastic bottles and leftover wood from construction.
