CAE Achieves Historic Milestone in Community Support with $1.3 Million Fundraising Effort

CAE Sets a New Record in Fundraising with an Impressive $1.3 Million

In an inspiring display of corporate social responsibility, CAE has announced that its 25th Centraide (United Way) campaign has successfully raised an astounding $1,315,066. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the company and reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable communities across Greater Montreal and Canada. For the seventh consecutive year, CAE surpassed the million-dollar fundraising threshold, with this year's total setting a new record in the company's history of Centraide campaigns.

Matt Bromberg, the President and CEO of CAE, expressed his excitement about this year's campaign, stating, "As a newcomer to Montreal, experiencing my first Centraide campaign at CAE has been inspiring. What stood out most was the creativity and energy our teams brought to it. Our mission at CAE is to make the world a safer place, and that commitment extends to the communities where we live and work. I am grateful to everyone who contributed this year and proud of the impact we achieved together."

The funds raised will enable Centraide (United Way) to extend its support to more than 5,000 local communities across Quebec and Canada. CAE's total contributions to Centraide since 2000 have now exceeded an impressive $19.5 million, solidifying the company’s position as a leader in corporate social responsibility.

Hélène V. Gagnon, Chief People and Sustainability Officer at CAE, highlighted the campaign's evolution, saying, "Over time, the campaign has become an integral pillar of our organization's culture and a powerful driver of employee engagement. This year saw a renewed spirit of collaboration, with an increased participation rate and new leaders actively engaging in the campaign." She expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, volunteered, and donated.

CAE’s commitment to community support goes beyond fundraising. The organization actively seeks partnerships, donations, and sponsorships focusing on key areas such as education, civil aviation, and defense and security. It also encourages individual and team volunteer initiatives, facilitating donations to charities advocated by its employees through the CAEvolunteering program. This dual approach ensures that CAE amplifies its positive impact on society by supporting both its employees and the causes they hold dear.
