2025 Agricultural and Fishery Grant Program

The Agricultural and Fishery Future Fund (referred to as the Future Fund) is excited to announce that applications for its 2025 grant program are currently open. This initiative aims to support local agricultural, forestry, and fishery producers who are creatively overcoming challenges they face in their industries. The Future Fund's mission is to contribute to the growth of agriculture and fisheries as well as the improvement of food and community living through innovative projects.

Grant Objectives

The primary goals of this grant program include:
1. Supporting Sustainable Development: The Future Fund emphasizes the importance of nurturing agriculture and fisheries by providing assistance to key stakeholders in the sector.
2. Enhancing Profitability: Initiatives that strengthen the economic viability of agriculture and marine resource management are at the heart of our funding philosophy.
3. Community Activation: Projects that use agriculture and fisheries as a foundation for revitalizing rural areas will receive special consideration.

The Fund is looking for projects that showcase innovative challenges from the field that can serve as models for others. We will prioritize those that can clearly demonstrate a feasible outcome if certain hurdles are overcome. Grants will cover up to 90% of the project costs, effectively boosting applicants who are close to realization.

Application Schedule

• - Submission Period: Applications will be accepted from May 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM until June 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM. All submissions must be completed via the grant application system during this window.
• - Review Period: From July 1, 2025, to mid-December 2025, our team will conduct a thorough review of all submissions to select the most impactful projects.
• - Notification of Results: Notifications will be sent via email: notifications of unsuccessful applicants will occur around mid-September 2025, and successful candidates will receive results in early to mid-December 2025.
