Objectives of the Research
The aim of this research was to gather insights into how people manage air conditioner cleaning and other household tasks through digital means. The survey was designed to give Ouchi ni Pro valuable feedback to assist individuals facing issues with air conditioner maintenance.
Methodology
The survey was conducted using Cloud Works and targeted 100 individuals, with a gender distribution of 36 males and 63 females (one respondent did not disclose their gender). The age range of respondents spanned from their 20s to their 60s, with the following breakdown:

A considerable portion, 48%, said they would clean it whenever they felt like it, while 12% believed notifications would not motivate them to clean at all.

Perception of Digital Management Assistance: A majority of 57% felt that digital management would slightly reduce the frequency of missed cleaning tasks, while a mere 14% believed it would significantly cut down on forgetfulness.

Task Delegation Preferences: When considering which tasks they would prefer to delegate to a digital device, 34% expressed the desire to have devices check the cleanliness of the air conditioner’s interior, while 24% wished for timely notifications regarding filter cleaning. Only 2% wanted to delegate the task of hiring cleaning professionals, indicating a preference for maintaining direct oversight over certain chores.

Calendar Reminders: A staggering 82% of respondents have never registered cleaning reminders in their digital calendars, while only 4% are currently registered, highlighting a significant opportunity for service improvement in household management tools.
